POST#6 The United States Capital Building

Napoleon Self Portrait in the House Chamber

The United Sates Capital Building

Napoleon:
I believe Napoleon was chosen to have his portrait on the walls of the house chamber because Napoleon  was  very valuable person who had achieved a lot throughout his life politically and also that he had a huge influence and his saying with the law. Since Napoleon was the First Emperor of France, this automatically showed that he was a strong, and influential leader.

Alfonso X:

Alfonso X Self Portrait in the House Chamber

I believe Alfonso X was chosen to have his portrait on the walls of the house chamber because Alfonso X was very talented with making up new laws for the public and its society's and many people were affected by his decisions on new laws but many were very satisfied with his decisions so this made him a role model as a leader.

MOSES:
Moses Self Portrait in the House Chamber
Moses I believe was chosen to be on the wall of the house chamber because Moses was a prophet and had written many verses in the bible. He influenced the people as ways f living and because he wanted to help our nation grow and strengthen.

Statue of Liberty

The statue of liberty represents freedom to the people and it is an American Landmark and since it is such a beautiful large statue, it shows other country's how we represent our country's liberty and freedom for all in our country of the United States.

Surrender of Lord Cornwallis

This was the last mission of the revolutionary war and not wanting to live under a tyrant, we created our own government instead because we believed we deserved to be under no other tyrant. I chose this painting because the people in the middle show leadership and the people on each side represent war. It is a very strong image that means a lot.
